The History of Cullercoats F.C.
Cullercoats F.C. was founded in 1915.
Their home ground is Links Avenue, Cullercoats, Tyne &
Wear.
Cullercoats was originally known as Culver
Cots (Culver is another name for Doves – so home for Doves, hence the Club logo).
If we remember rightly there was some kind of breeding place for doves on the site
which is now the Dove Marine Labs in Cullercoats Bay.
Team Colours are black and white quarters, black shorts
and black socks.
Second colours are red and black quarters, black shorts and black socks.
Age ranges are 8 years to Senior.
The Junior setup, named FC Cullercoats, was formed for
the 2006/07 season and were formerly known as 'Percy Main Tyne'.
The Senior side were also named 'Percy Main Tyne' but have
reverted to Cullercoats F.C. for the 2006/2007 season where they will be competing
in the Northern Football Alliance
Second Division.

2004 – 2005 Team withdrawn from League
2006 – 2007 Team rejoins Northern Football Alliance
Div 2
The 8,9 and 10 year olds play in the Killingworth Mini
Leagues.
The 11,12,13,14 and 16's play in the Deakin Printers Coast
Colts League.
The 19's play in North East Case Management Northumberland
Youth League.
The 8,9,10 and Seniors play on a Saturday, the rest play
on a Sunday Morning.
